Lignum Vitae

The tree is so slow growing in arid terrain, that the ten to twelve inch diameter trees may be 150 years old!
The heartwood has a dark green cast. The surrounding cream colored
sapwood is accented with green specks and the occasional bug hole.
Machines very well, and lacquer makes it pop.
