NARGUSTA (Terminalia amazonia)

• To acquire the red in nargusta, you must travel to higher elevations.  It is difficult to obtain, but well worth the effort!

• When quatersawn, the wood rewards you with red stripes on a white background that has subtle figure throughout. The features are bolder in the lower part of the log and softly fades as it nears the crotch.

• Designers will have a place for, both, bold and mild.

• The wood machines reasonably well and finishes easily.
